Players post their year here when they choose to. Each one is ranked by alpha: the company's share price return over the year minus the return the default plan made in exactly the same world. The server replays every year from its decisions, so the numbers can't be typed in.

How the Index works
- Alpha is your share price return for the year minus the default plan's, in percentage points. The default plan holds price, a standard budget, a balanced mix and light deals all year, in the same world: same seed, market, news and competitors. Holding it scores exactly zero.
- The engine pays no dividends, so the return is the share price alone, from the close of last year to the close of Q4.
- Each finished year can be posted once. Boards keep their top 1,000 years; a listing stays for 400 days.
- A season is a calendar month (UTC). The season board starts from zero on the 1st; each season's final table stays on the season archive. Corporate editions post to their own private board.
- Groups: add your team, school or company on the year-end screen. Group boards show the average and best alpha for groups of three or more years, never who is in them.
A listing shows the display name you choose (or Anonymous and your brand), nothing else about you (see Privacy).
